1. Who We Are

SolveIT Technology Solutions (“SolveIT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a locally owned technology company based in Laredo, Texas. We provide managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, data backup, IT consulting, and website design to businesses across Laredo and Webb County.

This policy covers www.solveitts.com and the forms, subscriptions, and pages on it. The systems we operate for active clients, such as our help desk and remote support portals, are described in Section 7.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you submit a contact form, request a quote, or subscribe to our newsletter, we receive what you type into those fields. That is usually your name, business name, email address, phone number, and a description of what you need help with. Required fields are the minimum we need in order to reply. Everything else is optional.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical details when you visit: IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the website that referred you, the pages you view, and the date and time of each visit. This comes from our web server logs and from the analytics tools described in Section 4.

What we do not collect here. We do not ask for or store credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, or health information through solveitts.com. This site has no user accounts, no comments, and no online store.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

  • Answer quote requests, service inquiries, and support questions
  • Prepare proposals and deliver the services you hire us for
  • Send newsletters or service updates when you have asked to receive them
  • Keep the site secure, block abuse, and troubleshoot problems
  • See which pages and services people find useful so we can improve them
  • Meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to advertisers.

4. Cookies and Website Analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Ours uses them for two things: keeping the site working, which includes remembering form state and blocking spam and automated attacks, and measuring traffic.

For traffic we use Google Analytics 4 through the Google Site Kit plugin. It tells us how many people visit, which pages they read, the general area they are in at the city or region level rather than a street address, and how they found us. We use it to understand patterns, not to identify individual visitors by name. Visits from logged in site administrators are excluded.

You can limit this at any time:

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings
  • Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
  • Turn on Do Not Track or a global privacy control in your browser

Our pages also display our Google reviews. Loading that content sends a request to Google, which is covered by Google’s own privacy policy rather than this one.

5. Email and Marketing Messages

If you subscribe through the form in our footer, your email address is stored with Mailchimp so we can send you our newsletter. Every message includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately, and you can also email info@solveitts.com and ask us to remove you.

Notifications and replies generated by the website are delivered through Mailgun. Filling out a contact or quote form does not add you to any marketing list. We only send marketing email to people who asked for it.

6. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the vendors that keep our business running, and only as much as each one needs to do its job:

  • SiteGround hosts this website and handles server logs and security filtering
  • Google (Analytics, Site Kit, and Reviews) measures site traffic and displays our reviews
  • Mailchimp delivers our newsletter to subscribers
  • Mailgun delivers form notifications and other email from the site

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, such as a subpoena, court order, or lawful government request, or when it is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of our clients, our team, or the public.

If SolveIT is ever sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information would transfer as part of that business. We would post notice on this page before that happened.

7. Client Data and Managed IT Services

This section applies if you are a SolveIT client rather than a website visitor.

Delivering managed IT, cybersecurity, backup, and cloud services means we can reach the systems we support, including servers, workstations, email, network equipment, and backups, along with the data stored on them. We access those systems to do the work you hired us for: monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, security response, and recovery. We do not read, copy, or use client data for any other purpose.

Remote sessions through our support tools require someone on your side to start or approve them, except for unattended maintenance you have authorized in writing. Our help desk and remote support portals are separate systems from this website, and your use of them is governed by your service agreement with us together with this policy.

If your business handles regulated information such as medical records, financial records, cardholder data, or student records, tell us before we begin. We will put the right agreement in place first.

8. How We Protect Your Information

We follow the same practices we recommend to our clients. The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, our administrative accounts require multi-factor authentication, credentials are stored in Keeper, where we are a verified MSP Partner, and access to client information is limited to the people who need it to do their work. Systems are patched and backed up on a managed schedule.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as Texas law requires.

9. How Long We Keep Information

  • Contact and quote submissions. Kept in our email and business records while we are in touch and for a reasonable period afterward, so we have a history of what was asked and answered.
  • Newsletter subscriptions. Kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Website analytics. Retained on the default schedule Google applies to our property.
  • Client records, contracts, and invoices. Kept for the length of the relationship and afterward for as long as tax and legal requirements demand.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or render it unreadable.

10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

No matter where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we hold personal information about you
  • Send you a copy of it
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete it, unless we are required to keep it
  • Stop sending you marketing email

Texas residents. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain automated profiling. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

How to make a request. Email info@solveitts.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or call 956-849-6174. We respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity first, usually by confirming details you have already given us. If we deny a request, we will explain why and how to appeal. Appeals go to the same address and receive a written answer within 60 days.

Our services are sold to businesses, and this site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email info@solveitts.com and we will delete it.

This site links to places we do not control, including our help desk, our remote support tool, vendor pages, and our social profiles. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s website, under their privacy policy rather than ours.

12. Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when our practices, tools, or legal obligations change. The current version always lives at this address, and the last updated date at the top of the page tells you when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will make that clear through a notice on the site, by email, or both.
